iSPOT

This was my first major project. The premise of this project was to design a ICT product for social interaction within the domain of urban night life.

iSPOT is a comprehensive concept targeting large music festivals, based on SPOT Festival in Aarhus, which is an inner-city festival spread across multiple venues in a fairly large radius.

The concept consists of an mobile application, a web interface and armbands with build in RFID tags. Via the mobile app the user can follow the current activity in the festival, share photos and video and find Facebook friends who is also attending. Through the web interface the user can se where he’s been the night before, and what songs played at the concerts he attended, which can be share with other attendees or on Facebook. Additionally, at selected venues a live stream of the videos and photos taken with the app.
